Hagia Sophia was initially a
church then, it was converted into a mosque. After thousands of years, it was
reopened as a museum in 1935. In

time, it was the largest cathedral. In 1453, Constantinople was conquered.
Sultan Mehmed II ordered this church converted into a mosque. Christian

Ahmed Mosque, it was the principal mosque of Istanbul. Now, it is a museum. In
2015, it was the most visited touristic attraction of Turkey.
